From The Heart
An art market for the holidays
In the spirit of the Discovery Tour, the Arroyo Arts Collective (AAC), in partnership with the Avenue 50 Studio, will again honor the tradition of featuring artists in Northeast Los Angeles by producing an art market exhibition!
AAC invites current members to be part of an assembly of artists, ranging from emerging to well established, including fine artists and craftspeople, to congregate at the AVENUE 50 STUDIO for an exhibit opening on Saturday, November 9, 2019 as part of the NELA Second Saturday Art Walk.
We are calling this celebration of art, From The Heart.
As a From The Heart artist, you will have a defined wall and/or floor space (3 – 5 feet, dimensions to be determined by number of artists). You can utilize a small table or free standing display within your allotted space. Artist display is entirely up to you, however, we are encouraging innovative ways to display your work to create a memorable and lasting impression for the shopper. All work is available on a Cash N’ Carry basis and should be priced under $500. Be prepared to re-stock your display after any sales. There is a $30 participation fee payable to the Arroyo Arts Collective and any commissions on proceeds will be paid directly to Avenue 50 Studio. With From The Heart, the AAC aims to keep the Acorn brand relevant and engaged to our community.
Space is subject to availability, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.
The exhibit will run through December 7, 2019.
In addition to the event, we are looking to host poetry readings, film screenings, or single day Truck Shows. Please let us know if you have an event to propose.
You must be a current member to participate
