What A Gift: Handmade and Local
An art market for the holidays
In the spirit of the Discovery Tour, the Arroyo Arts Collective (AAC), in partnership with the Avenue 50 Studio, will again honor the tradition of featuring artists in Northeast Los Angeles by producing an art market exhibition!
AAC invites current members to be part of an assembly of artists, ranging from emerging to well established, including fine artists and craftspeople, to congregate at the AVENUE 50 STUDIO for an exhibit opening on Saturday, November 20, 2021 and running through December.
We are calling this celebration of art, What A Gift.
As a What A Gift artist, you will have a defined wall and/or floor space of 6 feet. You can utilize a small table or freestanding display within your allotted space, and in some cases there will be wall space available for hanging larger 2-D works. Artist display is entirely up to you, however, we are encouraging innovative ways to display your work to create a memorable and lasting impression for the shopper.
All work is available on a Cash N’ Carry basis and should be priced under $300, with smaller work maybe under $100. Be prepared to re-stock your display after any sales. With What A Gift, the AAC aims to keep the Acorn/Discovery Tour brand relevant and engaged to our community.
Space is subject to availability, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.
The exhibit will run through January 8, 2022.
In addition to the event, we are looking to host poetry readings, film screenings, or single day Truck Shows. Please let us know if you have an event to propose.
