The AAC invites you to experience an assembly of artists, ranging from emerging to well established, coming together at the Los Angeles Makery, located in Downtown LA, for an exhibit opening on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
In homage to April – our month of blooming, shifting, and new beginnings, AAC members create visual interpretations of openings, awakenings and revelations. This could mean portals, doors, windows; both literal and not – the liminal thresholds between what was and what may be, the dream and the waking, embrace and rejection…
El AAC los invita a experimentar una asamblea de artistas, desde emergentes hasta consagrados, que se reunirán en el museo de Los Ángeles Makery, ubicado en el centro de la cuidad, para una exhibición que se inaugurará el jueves 4 de abril de 2024.
En homenaje al mes de abril, el cual es tiempo de cambios, nuevos comienzos y florecimiento, los miembros del AAC postraran interpretaciones visuales de aperturas, despertares y revelaciones. Esto podría significar portales, puertas, ventanas; tanto literal como no – los umbrales liminales entre lo que fue y lo que puede ser, el sueño y la vigilia, el abrazo y el rechazo…
